Maury Regional Medical Center will host "Your Medicare in 2020,” a free seminar that explains how Medicare participants can evaluate plan changes for the coming year.
The event begins at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 25th, in the MRMC Auxiliary Conference Room in Columbia.
Sherri Craig with the State Health Insurance Assistance Program will provide information on what changes could be made in the Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans in 2020.
The seminar will also address the importance of performing an annual plan comparison and how the Medicare website can be used to compare plans.
The Medicare Part D Annual Enrollment Period is October 15 to December 7.

Giles County Sheriff's Department arrested a Pulaski man over the weekend on multiple charges.

Cornelius Brenson Carden, 36, was charged with Contraband in Penal Institution, Driving while license was revoked, 2 counts of simple possession, Failure to Appear and Speeding.

Carden is being held on a $11,300 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on October 17th to answer all charges.

Deputy Dennis Keefer was the arresting officer.

Also arrested over the weekend by the Pulaski Police Department were Donald Ray O'Grady, age 64 and Rosie Fraxlix, age 58.

Both were charged with Aggravated Burglary and bond for each was $10,000.

Officer Jacob McCafferty was the arresting officer.
