Southside Elementary School’s March Student of the Month is Brooks Foster.

According  to  the  fourth  grader’s  art  teacher, Matthew Orgeron,  for  the  last  two  years, Brooks has been a  model  student.  Brooks  always  takes  time  out  of  his  day  to  ask  others how they are doing, showing  just  how  caring  and  compassionate  he  is  to  his  neighbors  and  friends.

Orgeron said Brooks is always  eager  to  participate in class and strives to always do his absolute best, while also helping  his  peers  excel  at the same time.

Brooks  said  math  is  his favorite subject and he enjoys   arts  and  crafts at home and playing video games on his tablet.  

Although orange is his favorite  color,  Brooks  maintains that Alabama is his favorite team.  With  his  kind  heart,  pleasant  personality  and  outgoing  classroom  behavior,  Brooks  truly  represents  what  it means to be the SES Student of the Month.
