The Giles County Legislative Committee will conduct a meeting at the Courthouse Annex – Basement Boardroom, July 11th, 2024 @ 8:00am.                                            

Items on the agenda include the preliminaries, the County Executive Announcements, the Chair’s Business including discussion on a proposal to add “Comments and Announcements” to Commission meetings, commission meeting times, Reducing the Commission from 21 to 14, rule proposal to require committee review of resolutions, and rule proposal to limit repetitive reviews of failed resolutions.

Then any unfinished business and new business.

The Chair will ensure time for public comment prior to voting on each item of business. Members of public are limited to 5 minutes duration per agenda item.
