Giles County remained at nine patients Tuesday who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Seven of those confirmed cases have since recovered.

In the county,  negative tests increased to 718, up from 716.

Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence with 21 positive, 1,101 negative, 17 recovered; Lincoln has 16 positive, 910 negative, 11 recovered; Marshall reports 24 positive, 790 negative, 20 recovered, one fatality; and Maury with 57 positive, 2,105 negative, 37 recovered.

As of 2 p.m. Tuesday, Tennessee has reported 16,111 positive tests, 267,813 negative tests, 265 fatalities and 8,336 recovered.
