Lawrence County Fire responded to a building fire on Wednesday afternoon.
Ethridge Fire Department and Lawrence County Fire and Rescue responded to the 100 block of Taylor Circle in Ethridge.
When crews arrived, they found a heavy fire and smoke showing from the entire property as the blaze had quickly spread from throughout the home.
Despite best efforts by firefighters, the residence and contents were a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
Lawrence County EMS assisted at the scene and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
