The Giles County Health Department will host a COVID-19 drive-through testing event for the community on Sunday.
Nurses or National Guard medics at the site will collect nasal swabs from those who want to be tested, and test results may be available within 72 hours after the samples arrive at the lab, depending on lab volume.
A person does not  have to live in Giles County to be tested at this event.
Giles County Health Director Devin Toms said the testing will be provided at no cost to participants
Sample collection for testing will be offered from noon until 3 p.m.
Those who come for testing will get information on what to expect after their test, and should be prepared to isolate themselves at home while awaiting their test results.
