Giles County remained Sunday at five patients who have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to Tennessee Department Health officials, a patient previously thought to reside in Giles County was reassigned to their actual county of residence, thus decreasing Giles County’s case count to five.
Three of those patients who were confirmed have since recovered.
In Giles County the negative tests increased to 340, up from 328.
Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence — 16 positive, 599 negative, 13 recovered; Lincoln — 12 positive, 356 negative, seven recovered; Marshall — 22 positive, 441 negative, 11 recovered, one fatality; and Maury — 40 positive, 1,125 negative, 33 recovered.
