Giles County has received confirmation of its 6th case of COVID-19 which puts the county at three active cases and three recovered case.
According to information released Monday by the Giles County Office of Emergency Management,  Giles County increased to six patients who have tested positive for COVID-19.
The number reported for Giles County on the Tennessee Department of Health website, remained at five, but  is confirmed now at six.
In Monday's update on Tennessee Health website, negative tests rose to 226, up from 206.
Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence with 15 positive, 387 negative, 13 recovered; Lincoln has 10 positive, 185 negative, five recovered; Marshall reports 16 positive, 284 negative, seven recovered, one fatality; and Maury with 34 positive, 821 negative, 30 recovered.
As of 2 p.m. Monday, Tennessee has reported 7,238 positive tests, 93,451 negative tests, 152 fatalities and 3,575 recovered.
Tennessee remains under Executive Order 23 by Governor Bill Lee which mandates Tennesseans to stay home unless engaged in essential activities, limiting exposure to and spread of COVID-19 until April 30th.
