Over 400 families were fed Saturday when Rural Food Delivery handed out boxes at the Giles County Agri-Park.
Drivers began waiting in line at 4 a.m. and members of  RFD opened gates before 9 a.m. due to traffic on the highway.
A total of 636 boxes of food were given to people throughout the county.
Brad Smith said he would like to thank everyone who came and volunteered Saturday morning with Community RFD and  wants to thank Kyle Helton and the Giles County Sheriff's deputies and the Tennessee Highway Patrol who helped with traffic.
"This is a challenging time, but when we all work together we will make it through and be stronger as a community," Smith said.
The next distribution is May 23rd and the location will be announced later.
