During a press conference Monday Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has extended his Safer at Home order until April 30th.
Lee said the extension of the order was made in consultation with the White House and extends his previous announcement, which had been set to end today. (Tuesday)
The governor said Vice President Mike Pence is working with governors across the country and will reopen in conjunction with whatever the federal government is doing.
Lee also announced the formation of an economic recovery group that will include local mayors, health care reps, business and industry experts to reopen the economy.
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel was one of the invited speakers at Monday's press conference and he encouraged people to spend more time worrying about others than worrying about yourself.
