Marshall and Maury counties have recorded their first fatality connected to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thursday's update from the Tennessee Department of Health confirmed both patients had a pre-existing health condition.
Giles County remained at three patients who have tested positive for COVID-19.
In Thursday's update, negative tests rose to 120, up from 117.
Positive and negative test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence up to 11 positive, 231 negative; Lincoln with seven positive, 80 negative; Marshall has nine positive, 163 negative and Maury reported 31 positive, 560 negative.
Tennessee has reported 4,634 positive tests, 55,215 negative tests and 94 fatalities
