Pulaski Electric System’s Board of Directors voted  to temporarily suspend non-pay disconnects for both Electric and Broadband Services due to the economic impact of COVID-19 to the customers.
According to PES CEO Richard Kelley, it is extremely important that their customers understand that bills will continue to go out during this time period. “Bills are not being forgiven during these unique times; customers are still responsible for payment of the utilities received.
Kelley informed board members during the meeting that PES main office lobby has been closed to the public due to the safe distancing directives from Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee.
Kelley said customers who need to perform a change in service can schedule an appointment by calling 363-2522 and selecting Option 1.
Closing the lobby leaves  approximately 10,000 customers per month who pay their bills at PES’s main office searching for an alternative way to pay.
Alternate payment options include: SmartHub Web Browser, SmartHub App, Bank Draft, mail in Payment,  and pay by phone
The payment kiosk at PES’s main office on South First Street  is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
