Patricia Kathleen Wilburn Witherow of Toney, Alabama passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, AL. She was born on March 24, 1924 in Decatur, Alabama and was 96 years old.
Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved all her family dearly. She was a member of Sunrise Chapel in Elkton, Tennessee. She managed and worked at various restaurants throughout her life and retired from Ryans in Huntsville, Alabama at age 89.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday, July 10th at 4:00pm in the Elkton Cemetery, Elkton, TN. with Pastor Eddie Woodard officiating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alieen Wilburn of Prospect, 2 brothers, John R. Wilburn, Jr. of Prospect and Ed Wilburn of Pulaski, sister, Lois Wilburn Thompson of Prospect, TN.
She is survived by her
Daughter, Joyce Woodard-Morgan and husband Jethro of Prospect, TN.
Daughter, Sylvia Dempsey and husband Bill of Toney, AL.
Grandchildren, Debbie Woodard Williams and husband Steve of Prospect, TN. Eddie Woodard and wife Mary of Prospect, TN. and David Dempsey and wife Denise of Toney, AL.
Great-grandchildren, Schonna Fleming of Athens, AL. Amber DeMint and husband Rich of Prospect, TN. T.J. Woodard of Bunker Hill, TN. Jessica Woodard-Harwell and Danielle of North Carolina, Joshua Dempsey of Toney, AL. and Jordan Dempsey and wife Ashley of Toney, AL.
9 great-grandchildren
Several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends also survive.
