With another round of storms coming in Wednesday afternoon and evening, local school officials have announced they will be closing schools early in anticipation of inclement weather.

-All Lawrence County Schools closed at 1:30 PM today (Wednesday) for inclement weather.

-All Giles County Schools closed at 1:30 PM today (Wednesday) for inclement weather.

-Giles County school officials have also announced that they will be closing all Giles County schools all day Thursday, February 6th and Friday, February 7th to give everyone a chance to recover from flu and illness before returning to school on Monday.
