WKSR will be adding News Briefs and mid-night news starting Tuesday on its radio stations, 100.9 FM, 107.7 FM and 1420 AM.

News Briefs will be aired daily at 10:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. with information about current events, government, politics, and much more.

Also, DJ Jesse Frank James will be aboard beginning at 7 p.m. until midnight seven days a week.

The weekday shift is Mr. Ed from 5 a.m. until 10 a.m. Alexis from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. then Andy and Gang from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.

According to Butch Menafee, station manager, the reason to add a midnight news cast is for third shift workers and whoever is listening to the station at that time.
