The Lawrence County Sheriff’s department made several drug arrests last week.

Tracey Williams, 36, of Lawrenceburg was taken into custody when deputies went to a property on Prosser Road to locate 33 year Michael Stacey Prater, who had an outstanding warrant and failed to stop for law enforcement.

Williams was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and approximately 4 grams of meth.

Williams also had three outstanding warrants in Alabama.

Deputies arrested Lisa Jo Nix, 55, after she attempted to bring contraband in the prison.

Nix was found in possession of several pills along with 3.1 grams of a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Both subjects remain in the Lawrence County Jail.
