The Southern Middle Tennessee Forestry Association Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 23rd beginning at 6 pm with supper at the Maury County Farm Bureau Office located at 181 Theta Pike, in Columbia.

The Department of Agriculture Foresters will be making a presentation on programs and grant opportunities for forest landowners.

RSVP to the Giles County Extension Office at 931-363-3523 by Tuesday, January 21st.

If you would like to join the local association, dues are $25 and can be paid at the meeting.

The Association promotes forest and timber management, wildlife preservation and serves as a voice for forest landowners.
