Clanton was first reported missing in Lawrence County on Jan. 16. The 17-year-old Clanton is identified by photographs as a Caucasian girl with brown hair and blue eyes. She was described as standing at 5 feet, one inch tall and weighing approximately 125 pounds.

Police say tips have been called claiming the teenager was seen in Columbia, Giles County and in Alabama.

“She is still missing at this time,” Haywood said.

Clanton has been placed on a national listing of missing children from the National Center of Exploited and Missing Children.
