Maury Regional Medical Center has been awarded an “A” for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group for the 11th consecutive reporting period of the spring 2019 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades.

“We are committed to measure and monitor our performance across national patient safety measures to ensure that we offer outstanding care to our patients,” said Maury Regional Health CEO Alan Watson. “This consistent ‘A’ rating is reflective of the commitment of our employees, physicians and volunteers to ensure the safety of those who entrust us with their health care needs.”

Developed under the guidance of a nation expert panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign grades to more than 2,600 U.S. acute-care hospitals twice per year.
