A Pulaski woman was killed and four others injured in a head-on crash Saturday night north of Pulaski.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol officials, Christy Alexander, 40, of Pulaski, was driving a 2000 Dodge Caravan northbound on Pulaski Highway when she crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a 1999 Acura sedan head-on.

Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene.

THP identified driver of the Acura as  Lesa Shrader, 29, of Pulaski.  Passengers in the Acura were Rosie Byrd, 51, of Lynnville, along with two children.

Shrader was air-lifted from the scene to Huntsville Hospital for treatment and Byrd and both children  were air-lifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville.

As of Monday morning, Shrader was listed in stable condition and Bryd was in the Trauma unit. Conditions on the children are still unknown.

Investigators reported  all victims were wearing seatbelts and there is no evidence that drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. 

Deputies with the Maury County Sheriff's Office closed Pulaski Highway near Giles County line for several hours to investigate the crash.
