Emergency agencies including the Pulaski Fire Department responded to a vacant lot near Spotwood Street about 11:15 Thursday morning. It was reported that a woman had fallen from a bluff, down a hill and landed upside down in a tree.

The fire department used a 14 foot ladder to rescue her before she fell to the ground. Fire chief Don Collins estimated about a 25 foot drop to the ground if she had fallen.

Tommy Gatlin with the Giles EMS reported they transported her to the hospital in good condition, and described her as a very lucky person.

The Pulaski Police Department, Sheriff’s Department, Giles Fire & Rescue, and Giles EMA all responded.
