Monday is Veterans Day, a federal holiday where most businesses will close. There will be no garbage pickup in Pulaski on Monday, with Monday’s trash pickup scheduled for the regular route on Tuesday.

All Pulaski government offices and county offices will take the day off, with no mail delivery on Monday. Pulaski Electric System will also be closed for Veterans Day.

The Giles County Senior Citizens Center will also be closed on Monday in honor of Veterans Day.

Giles County will honor our veterans on Sunday with a program that starts at 11:00am. This will take place at the Pulaski Recreation Center with a salute to all veterans.

There will also be a free beef stew served at the American Legion after the program.
