Christopher Dennis Richardson, 43, an inmate with the Giles County Sheriff's Department, briefly escaped custody from the local hospital yesterday (Monday) and is now back in custody.

Richardson is currently incarcerated with the Giles County Sheriff's Department for miscellaneous drug charges. Local law enforcement, including deputies from the Giles County Sheriff's Department, as well as officers from the Pulaski Police Department, quickly secured Richardson in a parking lot close to where he escaped.

Sheriff Kyle Helton wants to thank all those involved, including the information provided from concerned citizens, with the quick capture of this inmate.
