An AMBER Alert was issued out of East Tennessee Thursday, and the results are devastating.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation reported an AMBER Alert for seven year old Serenity Alanna Marie Kinsey out of Jefferson County.

She was last seen at her home along Indian Creek Road in Dandridge Thursday, wearing black shorts and a blue shirt, according to the TBI.

Officials said Serenity had autism and was nonverbal.

Later in the day (Thursday) a dive team later located Serenity’s body dead in a lake near her home, according to authorities.

No additional information was immediately released.
