Former Spring Hill Middle School principal Shanda Sparrow-Lang has been named the new principal of Columbia Central High School.

Sparrow-Lang has served as principal of Spring Hill Middle School for the past ten years.

Sparrow-Lang carries a distinguished career in leadership, most recently earning her the title of 2023-2024 Maury County Schools Principal of the Year. She was also previously named the 2018-2019 Principal of the Year.

Sparrow-Lang will begin her new position when the new school year starts.
