Mayor Pat Ford, Giles County Executive Greene, and EMA Director Jeremy Holley joined Alexis in WKSR’s Studio on Tuesday afternoon to address a significant increase in Giles County’s positive COVID-19 case count.

Giles has increased to 38 positive cases with 14 listed as recovered as of 2:00 PM on Tuesday. EMA Director Holley anticipates that this could be the beginning of Giles County’s peak of COVID-19 with more increases possible.

They cautioned Giles County to not become complacent or comfortable. Please practice social distancing, continue good hygiene practices, wear your masks, and limit your public exposure as much as possible.

They reminded the public that no personal information is available to County or City officials concerning those individuals who have tested positive beyond their positive status and county of residence.
