Giles County Board of Education work session has been changed to June 23rd at 4:30 p.m.
The board will discuss policies on first and second readings, Library and Perkins amendments.
In new business, the board will discuss the disposition of assets at the bus garage and old textbooks,
During the session, the board will also discuss the re-opening process for all schools and the alternative school.
A Special Called meeting is planned directly following the 4:30 p.m. work session.
Public access to this special meeting will be limited due to the spread of COVID-19 and the protection of the health, safety, and welfare of Giles County citizens.
In keeping with Executive Order Number 16, a video recording of this meeting will be available within two business days of the meeting.
The agenda shows a discussion on the Budget Amendments for 2020-2021, Boys and Girls Club, and Purchase Orders for American Flooring.
