Giles County increased to 23 patients Wednesday that tested positive for COVID-19.
TDH previously reported an increase to 23 confirmed cases on Monday but rolled back that number to 22 on Tuesday after determining that additional case had been assigned to the wrong county.
Thirteen of those 23 confirmed cases have since recovered.
In Wednesday's update, negative tests increased to 1,484, up from 1,460.
Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence increased to 72 positive, 2,230 negative, 33 recovered, two fatalities; Lincoln with 48 positive, 1,842 negative, 27 recovered; Marshall has 44 positive, 1,384 negative, 30 recovered, one fatality; and Maury increased to 177 positive, 4,093 negative, 96 recovered, one fatality.
As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, Tennessee has reported 32,143 total cases, 606,924 negative tests, 497 fatalities, and 21,282 recovered.
