Reports have been released on the ATV accident that claimed the life of a  Lawrence County High School teen on Sunday in Giles County.
Ashley Dancison, age 15, was driving a 2009 Kawasaki Mule ATV on Charlie Howell Road along with passenger Theodore Zies, age 19, of Rogersville, Alabama.
Reports show that Dancison was traveling northbound when the ATV  failed to negotiate a right-hand curve, struck a small ditch, and overturned with the ATV facing south.
Dancison was airlifted to Vanderbilt where she passed away Sunday night after sustaining injuries from the accident.
Zies was not injured in the 6:24 p.m. accident.
She was a member of the Lawrence County High School Class of 2023 and the Golden Girls dance team.
