Three seats on the Pulaski Board of Mayor and Aldermen will be up for election in November and the board will consider a resolution during the monthly meeting asking for a city election.
The resolution considered by the board is requesting the Giles County Election Commission place the three seats on the ballot for the November election.
The council has seven elected seats, the mayor and six aldermen at-large, who all serve four-year terms.
The election of aldermanic seats is staggered with three seats coming open every two years. The mayor's seat comes open every four years along with three aldermen.
The three aldermanic seats up for election this year are currently held by Vicky Harwell, Randy Massey, and Ricky Keith.
The resolution will be considered by the board on Tuesday, June 23rd at noon.
