A Lawrence County High School teen died after being involved in an ATV accident on Sunday in Giles County.
Ashley Dancison was airlifted to Vanderbilt where she passed away Sunday night after sustaining injuries from the ATV accident.
The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office says the tragic accident happened in Giles County on Charlie Howell Road.
Ashley was a member of the Lawrence County High School Class of 2023 and the Golden Girls dance team
A social media post from Lawrence County Schools read, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of LCHS student Ashley Dancison who passed away Sunday night after sustaining injuries from an ATV accident.
No details about the accident were available from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
