The Giles County Board of Education's monthly meeting is Thursday at the Central Office.
A representative from Energy Systems Group and Cope will make presentations for schools improvement project.
ESG recommended a $16.2 million option for the project during several meetings last year, but since that time the board has requested to hear from other companies.
An Administrator and Supervisor of the Year will also be recognized during the 5 p.m. meeting.
In new business, approving the list of teachers receiving tenure in the school system and request for proposals for renovation projects.
In old business, the board will discuss the use of facilities request from Boys and Girls Club, hear supervisor's and personal reports plus recognize 2020 retirees from the system.
The next Board meeting will be held July 2nd.
