The Giles County Sheriff's Department have been alerted that scam mail is being circulated in the county with EMS and local fire department address.
Sheriff Kyle Helton said he would like to stress that the mail is not being sent by any of Giles County Fire Departments  or EMS agencies.
A picture of the mail is on the sheriff's facebook page.
Helton said please check the validity of any organization prior to pledging a donation, or giving credit card information over the phone.
