Federal, state, county and city offices, as well as banks and post offices, are closed today in observance of Memorial Day. 
Other local businesses closed Monday include The Pulaski Electric System, the Giles County Senior Citizens Center and the Giles County Public Library.
Garbage regularly scheduled for pick-up on Mondays will be picked up on Tuesday due to the Memorial Day holiday.
