Pulaski City Administrator received a favorable evaluation from the Board of Mayor Aldermen’s annual review.
Terry Harrison received an average score of 4.66 out of 5 in the city council’s review of his performance.
The nine categories on which he was scored included individual characteristics, professional skills and status, relations with elected members of the governing body, policy execution, reporting, staffing, supervision, fiscal management, community, and four narrative questions.
Harrison was rated lowest in the supervision category, with a score of 4.4 and highest in the fiscal management category, with a score of 4.83.
Alderman Vicky Harwell did not complete an evaluation.
Economic Development Director David Hamilton gave an update on the county’s economic situation.
Hamilton told the board as of March, before most of the business shutdowns due to COVID-19, the unemployment rate for Giles County was at 4.8 percent.
He said the rate will increase as reports come in for the months of April and May.
