E-911 Board members recently recommended a 2020-21 budget with 3 percent pay raises for employees.
The balanced 2020-21 budget was approved with the use of capital reserves with some board members questioning using the reserves to balance a budget.
E-911 Director Mike Goode defended the practice.
The latest E-911 audit in the State Comptroller’s Office showed no findings against the local E-911 district.
No action was taken on the funding agreement,  recommended by Goode.
The agreement would have called for Giles County and the city of Pulaski each to contribute $1,700 and Elkton, Lynnville and Minor Hill to contribute $500 each.
An inter-local agreement between E-911 and the agencies served and other post employment benefits for employees were given to board members for review.
