The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency was called Friday night to a water rescue.
Officers  responded to Richland Creek in Giles County to search for a missing kayaker.
Crews report the kayaker went over a low head dam and was last seen floating face down in the water.
According to a kayaker,  the water was very rough and literally spun her kayak in circles just sitting still on the water.
TWRA is working the accident and the name of the victim was not available.
