Giles County commissioner were told this week that the county will receive $728,000 in stimulus money.
County Executive Melissa Greene said commissioners would decide where the money is spent in five categories.
Greene said she and Director of Finance Beth Moore-Sumners would submit a list of possible items on which the money could be spent.
“If we don’t use it, we lose it,” she said. “So we are going to make sure we spend every dime of that $728,000.”
