Giles County remained at six patients on Wednesday who have tested positive for COVID-19 with three of those confirmed cases have recovered.
In Wednesday's update negative tests increased to 239, up from 236.
Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence with 16 positive, 408 negative, 13 recovered; Lincoln has 11 positive, 199 negative, six recovered; Marshall reported 24 positive, 301 negative, 11 recovered, one fatality; and Maury County has 34 positive, 903 negative, 30 recovered.
As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, Tennessee has reported 7,842 positive tests, 107,138 negative tests, 166 fatalities and 4,012 recovered.
Giles County remains under Executive Order 23 by Gov. Bill Lee which mandates Tennesseans to stay home unless engaged in essential activities, limiting their exposure to and spread of COVID-19.
