The Giles County Help Center and volunteers will continue to serve the citizens of the county during these difficult times, but there will be some changes due to COVID-19 outbreak.
The center is now taking applications by telephone and operate by appointment only for pick-up of food and supplies.
Non-essential volunteers are being asked to stay at home to help to prevent contact.
If anyone would like to make donations, some of the things most needed would be pasta and noodles, soups, Hamburger Helper type mixes, cereal, oatmeal, canned ravi-oli and spaghetti along with frozen pizzas and toaster pastries.
Hours at the center are 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday thru Thursday.
To make a donation, call the center at 363-8655 to make arrangments.
