The Giles County Health Department will take part in statewide COVID-19 testing effort announced by Tennessee Governor Bill Lee.
Lee announced COVID-19 testing will be available for any Tennessean, regardless of traditional symptoms, as the Unified command group ramps up an aggressive effort to expand testing capacity across the state.
The Giles County Health Department has confirmed that free testing is available at the local facility located at 209 S. Cedar Lane in Pulaski during regular business hours Monday thru Friday.
The closest site for Giles County on Saturday is at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion in Columbia at 102 Riverside Drive.
Tennessee Department of Health Nurses and Tennessee National Guard medics will perform tests at each site and results are projected to be delivered to participants within 72 hours of testing.
