Giles County increased Tuesday to four patients who have tested positive for COVID-19.
The number reported for Giles County on the state website today remains three, but Giles County Office of Emergency Management Director Jeremy Holley confirmed Tuesday that the total number of confirmed cases is four.
Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence with 15 positive, 315 negative, six recovered; Lincoln has nine positive, 101 negative, three recovered; Marshall reported nine positive, 196 negative, four recovered, one fatality; and Maury has 33 positive, 629 negative, 20 recovered.
Tennessee has reported 5,823 positive tests, 73,008 negative tests, 124 fatalities and 1,969 recovered.
The state remains under Executive Order 23 by Governor Bill Lee which mandates Tennesseans to stay home unless engaged in essential activities, limiting their exposure to and spread of COVID-19.
