An additional 110 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus were reported by state health officials on Monday afternoon.

Lincoln County had the first case reported on Monday and no cases of the virus have been confirmed in Giles County.

Tennessee now has a total of 615 cases of the coronavirus.

In Maury County, the number of confirmed cases increased from two to six on Monday.

Davidson County continues to lead the state with a total of 164 cases followed by Shelby County with 93 cases and Williamson County with 53.

The Tennessee Department of Health says it has conducted a total of 983 tests have been completed and 73 of those tests returned positive.

The additional 543 cases in Tennessee where tested by commercial and private laboratories.

“There has been a lot done over these past couple of days,” Governor Bill Lee said at press conference on Monday afternoon. “A lot of that work is very hopeful. Tennessee is a very innovative and creative place. We are going to overcome this.”
