Due to the Coronavirus, today’s (Monday) Circuit Court was conducted by video arraignments and pleas of inmates that are being released.

All court was held in the chambers by video at 8:30 a.m.

According to the sheriff’s office, no inmates were brought to the courthouse from the Giles County Jail.

Pleas heard by video were State of Tennessee versus Steven Tyler Head charged with Theft of Property and probation violation.

State of Tennessee versus Colt Alonzo Stokes, charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, Vandalism, violation of order of protection, aggravated burglary, aggravated kidnapping and probation violation.
