Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski has implemented new guidelines to its visitation policy effective Monday in an effort to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmissions.

According to a press release issued Monday the hospital’s new visitation policy is now restricted to one well visitor, 16 years and older, with no switching out per patient.

Anyone entering the hospital will be screened and must sanitize their hands. There will be only two entrances to the hospital, the main lobby and the rear registration lobby.

Visiting Hours will be 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. with an exception for pediatric patients, parents giving birth, or patients receiving end of life care.

The Cafe’ and Gift Shop will also be closed.

Hospital CEP Jim Edmondson said their mission is making communities healthier, and they intend to take every necessary step to play their role in just doing that.
