A crash site at Giles County High School Wednesday morning will look real, but the accident will be staged to raise awareness of drinking and driving, wearing seat belts and texting.

Partnering in the 9 a.m. mock accident will be the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Giles County emergency agencies, Air Evac and other medical staff.

From reporting over the scanner to emergency personnel arriving at the site, the mock crash will be worked as if it was a real accident - even to the point of having victims, who are students and teachers.

Again, the crash you may hear about that supposedly happened at the high school is not a real accident.
