WKSR sent out a call for help late last week for donations to help those in need from the recent tornado in Middle Tennessee.

WKSR joined forces Bledsoe Trucking to collect a tractor trailer full of needed supplies and are still collecting today at the WKSR Studios located at 1592 West College Street

The trailer will pull out on Wednesday or Thursday and be delivered to the affected areas.

The twisters struck the Nashville area last week shredding more than 140 buildings and buried people in piles of rubble and wrecked basements. The storms moved so quickly that many people in their path could not flee to safer areas.
