The Pulaski Board of Mayor and Aldermen recently approved a parade permit for Census Saturday.

The event will be held April 4th to assist citizens across Giles County in filling out the 2020 Census Report.

The proposed event will take place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the north side of the Courthouse parking lot.

Alderman Ricky Keith said this is an opportunity for people who don’t readily have access to electronic services to fill out their census, which can be filled out online for the first time this year.

City Administrator Terry Harrison stressed the importance of everyone in Giles County being counted to ensure the city and county get as much state and federal grant money as possible for projects important to the citizens.
