Wolf Gap and the Turner Center at Martin Methodist College, in cooperation with Humanities Tennessee, continue their exploration of the evolving landscape of rural America as they host the local showing of “Crossroads: Change in Rural America,” a Smithsonian traveling exhibition.
“Crossroads” will be on view through March 15th at Martin Methodist College’s Gault Fine Arts Center.
Wolf Gap Executive Director Kelly Hamlin said they are impressed by the visitor count, but want to make sure that as many community members as possible get to enjoy ‘Cross roads’ during its stay.
She said people are coming from surrounding counties and beyond to see the exhibition and visit our community.
Public events are also planned during the remainder of the exhibit’s time in Pulaski. The Future of Giles County event will be held today (Friday) at 4:30 p.m. in the MMC Gault Fine Arts Center auditorium with refreshments.
A “Reporting Rural Tennessee” workshop will be held March 14th at MMC in conjunction with the “Crossroads” exhibit, sponsored by Humanities Tennessee. For more information, call Melissa Davis at Humanities Tennessee, 615-770-0006.
