A Giles County woman was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital with multiple injuries following an accident Tuesday on Highway 11.

Jessica Burchell Bost was ejected from the truck she was driving and the vehicle landed on top of her.

Reports indicate Bost was on her way home from work when the truck ran off the right side of the roadway and down an embankment, crushing the cab against a tree.

She was transported by AirEvac to Huntsville Hospital and is currently listed in critical but stable condition.

Family members say her injuries are extensive. She suffers from a brain bleed, bilateral cervical fracture, 5 fractured ribs with a punctured lung, jaw fracture in at least 3 places which will require surgery this week, fractures to her left wrist, a leg, ankle & crushing right arm fracture which will also require additional surgery.
